Flutter Background Video Recorder #

A Flutter plugin for Android that enables video recording in the background.

Overview #

This plugin allows you to seamlessly record videos in your Android app, even when the app is running in the background, the screen is turned off, or the device is locked.

Features (Android) #

Compatible with Android API 28 (Pie) and later Supports video and audio recording in Full HD (1080p) Recording persists even if the app is minimized or terminated Continues recording with the screen off or locked Works with both front and rear cameras

Audio-only recording Camera preview functionality when the app is in the foreground Flashlight support during video recording

iOS Support #

This plugin is currently not available for iOS. Contributions to make it compatible with iOS are welcome!
