The fcm_channels_manager is a flutter package that using to create and manage Notification in Android

Features #

1. The plugin provide an API for Android to manage notification channels.

Support Android 8.0 (API level 26) and above. For more information, visit Create and Manage Notification Channels

• Create a new channel
• Get all channels that have been registered
• Delete a channel

2. Provide full options to request notification in iOS

• badge: The ability to update the app’s badge.
• sound: The ability to play sounds.
• alert: The ability to display alerts.
• carPlay: The ability to display notifications in a CarPlay environment.
• criticalAlert: The ability to play sounds for critical alerts.
• providesAppNotificationSettings: An option indicating the system should display a button for in-app notification settings.
• provisional: The ability to post noninterrupting notifications provisionally to the Notification Center.

Installation #

In the pubspec.yaml of your flutter project, add the following dependency:

dependencies:
  fcm_channels_manager: <latest_version>

In your library add the following import:

import 'package:fcm_channels_manager/fcm_channels_manager.dart';

Usage #

1. Create new channel #

Return success message if channel registered successfully.

2. Get all registered channels #

You can get all registered channels with base informations about this channel: id, name, description, importance. You can check the importance level then handle your businesses.

3. Delete a channel #

Remove registered channel by channel's id. Return success message if channel deleted

4. Request notification permission #

Request iOS notification permission and return permission status

            sound: true,

            criticalAlert: true,
            openSettings: true,
          )

If user has denied permission, they must go to settings to turn it on manually. openSettings is true will open settings.
