magnification property

double magnification
final

Magnification factor for the content inside the selected indicator.

Values > 1.0 zoom in the selected tab's icon and label, creating the iOS 26 "lens" effect where the active tab appears slightly larger than its neighbours.

Recommended range: 1.0–1.3

  • 1.15 (default) — matches Apple News / Safari selected-tab scale.
  • 1.0 — no magnification; all tabs render at the same size.
  • 1.2–1.3 — more dramatic; may feel large with dense labels.

Only applies when maskingQuality is MaskingQuality.high.
